Good to know
What Stayant doesn’t do yet, so you can decide before you start:
- Pricing is per pitch per night. There are no separate adult, child, dog or vehicle rates yet; per-guest amounts can only be a charge on the total number of guests.
- Each pitch is booked individually. You can’t sell “20 grass pitches” as one type, and a family can’t book two pitches in one booking.
- There’s no direct Pitchup connection. Hipcamp and similar sites can sync by iCal, but the export covers the whole site, not each pitch.
- Opening and closing for the season is done by blocking dates rather than a season setting.
✦ Questions
Frequently asked
Can I take one-night bookings?
Yes. Each pitch can have a one-night minimum, and you can raise the minimum for weekends or busy dates.
How do I charge for electric hook-up?
Add it as an extra priced per night. Guests choose it when they book, and it appears on their confirmation and invoice.
Can I list on Booking.com or Airbnb too?
Yes. The channel manager connects to Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia and others, and other sites can be synced by iCal.
